AI Skills Matching helps you quickly assess how well applicants meet your role requirements based on the skills you've defined in the job posting. This feature is designed to improve hiring speed and consistency by automatically analyzing applicant profiles and comparing them to the hard skills listed in each position.

When enabled, AI Skills Matching assigns a skill match score (e.g., 10/10) to each applicant, indicating how many of the required skills they meet. This allows recruiters and hiring managers to instantly spot top-fit candidates and streamline their screening process. Also they can draw focus on the skills missing in the application.

  • These hard skills will serve as the base for AI Skills Matching.

Once active, AI Skills Matching will automatically analyze each new application.

  • Go to the Applications listing view of a position.

  • You’ll see a Skill Match column with a score like 10/10.

  • Hover over the score to view which required skills were matched.

Applicants with higher match scores are more aligned with the job’s skills - making them easier to prioritize for further review.

ℹ️ Note: Always validate the applications yourself too, and don't only rely on AI Skill Matching in you screening.

  • The system matches against hard skills added under job requirements.

  • To adjust what the AI checks, edit the hard skills in the job posting.

Why do different applicants have the same match score?

  • If multiple applicants meet all the listed hard skills, they will all show a full match.

Why some applicants in the same job have different amount skills for skills matching?

  • System processes the Skills matching the first time the applicant applies for the job. If at that time there are only two skills set for the job, the system only shows matches for those two skills.
If some of the skills have been added at a later date, the older applications are not processes automatically again. But newer applications will use the new skillset.
If you want to update the skills for an applicant you can click Edit (the pen icon) on applicant view and Save. That way the skills we be processed again.
