AI Insights helps recruiters and hiring teams identify applicants who match your job requirements, even when they don’t use exact keywords. Instead of relying on manual filtering or word-for-word searches, AI Insights uses contextual understanding to highlight applicants based on their skills, experience, and background.
This feature is especially helpful when you're screening large applicant pools or looking for hidden potential beyond what's immediately visible in a resume.
Enable AI Insights in settings
Navigate to Settings > AI Assistant > AI Insights
Toggle the feature on
Choose who can use the feature:
Admin
Recruiter
Hiring Manager
Reader
Custom
(Optional) Add a custom teaching prompt to guide the AI Assistant on what to prioritize
Use AI Search in the Application Listing View
Open a position
In the top-right corner, locate the AI Insights search bar
Enter a specific skill or attribute you're looking for
Examples:“Marketing skills”
“Experience with CRM tools”
“7+ years in customer service”
Review Application Matches
Applicants will be highlighted with AI Insights results:
✅ Full Match: Skill or attribute clearly mentioned
⚠️ Partial Match: Related context found, but not an exact match
🚫 No Match: Attribute not found
A short explanation appears under each applicant to justify the match level
Common Issues
Issue | Solution |
Search takes too long | Wait a few seconds — AI processing may take a moment if you have a large pool |
No matches shown | Try rephrasing the skill/attribute or use more general terms |
“Processing AI Insights, please wait... …” keeps loading | Refresh the page or check your internet connection |
Not seeing the AI search bar | Make sure AI Insights is enabled for your user role in Settings |
Additional Tips
You can combine AI search with standard filters (e.g. job role, application stage) to narrow down results
Use AI Insights during hiring team reviews to support more inclusive and skills-based evaluation
Avoid overly generic terms (e.g. “good communication”) and be as specific as possible to get the most relevant matches
