Create a new Position or a Job Requisition

Start by clicking “Create position” in the “Positions” page.

if you instead see "Create a job requisition" it means your company has a job approval process. You can create position, but before it get's published it needs to be approved by approvers. Learn more about the approval process here: Approvals

Define Core Position Details

In this initial step, you will enter the fundamental information about the position you are opening for applications. You can create job in three different types: External position, Internal Position and Hidden position.

Different Position Types:

  • External Position: This is the most visible type, suitable for advertising on external job boards, appearing in your company's RSS feed, and accessible via a direct link.

  • Internal Position: This option is accessible through a direct link or your company's RSS feed, making it ideal for internal job postings.

  • Hidden Position: This type is not visible on public channels and can only be accessed using a direct link, useful for confidential searches.

Essential Job Information:

  • Job ID: An internal identifier to help you distinguish between positions, particularly useful if you have multiple roles with similar job titles.

  • Job Title: The official title of the position you are hiring for.

  • Application Starting Date: This date determines when the job advertisement will become live and available to applicants.

  • Application Deadline: This marks the final date applications will be accepted for the role.

  • Job Description: This is your primary tool for attracting candidates. You can enhance it with rich text formatting, links, images, and videos.

  • Main Language: Select the primary language for the job advertisement and for communications with applicants for this specific position.

In the next step “Requirementsyou will be able to manage evaluation criteria.
You can write required skills manually use "Recommend skills" AI tool or use a Evaluation templates.

To use selected evaluation criteria in candidate evaluation add them in Evaluation steps section.

Share Information About Your Company

In the "About Us" step, you determine how much detail about your company is presented to potential applicants. You can choose to include a comprehensive company profile or provide a more concise overview.

  • Company Profile: This section allows you to showcase your organization. You can decide whether to display the full profile by checking the Add Profile option, which is highly recommended for providing context. Please note that any edits made to the company profile here are specific to this job advertisement and will not affect your main company profile elsewhere. Read more about Company profiles. The profile includes essential details such as:

    • Company Name

    • Contact Information (including recruiter Email and Telephone numbers)

    • Location of the job (defining this will also add a map to the ad)

    • A brief Description of your company's work

    • Links to your website and social media channels to encourage further engagement

    • Any Additional Information, such as specific contact hours.

  • Benefits: Use this area to highlight the attractive perks and advantages your company offers to its employees.

  • Free Comment: This field is available for any other important notes or details you wish to convey.

Preview -page

In the "Preview" stage, you'll give your job advertisement its final polish, ensuring it perfectly represents your company and the role.

  • Select a Theme: Choose from a variety of attractive templates to set the overall style of your advertisement.

  • Brand Your Ad: Use the color picker to select colors that align with your brand identity. Matching these with your header image can create a strong visual connection.

  • Enhance Visual Appeal: Upload a header image to make your ad stand out. The template will determine how this image is displayed.

  • Apply Custom Styling: For a truly unique look, the Custom CSS option allows you to fine-tune fonts, colors, and other design elements. You can even choose to hide specific components.

  • Structure for Clarity: Arrange the different sections of your advertisement to guide applicants through the information effectively. You can easily drag and drop sections or use the arrows for precise placement.

Remember to confirm that the map accurately shows the job's location if you've specified one.

Once everything looks just right, click Publish or Save for Later. Publishing generates a link that allows you to preview the final advertisement in a live environment before sharing it with potential applicants.
