Keep candidates up to date on their recruitment process by sending messages. Emails can be sent individually from the “Candidates” view or in batch from the “Applications” page.

You can send a message from your email or one of your organization’s email addresses. Your organization's email address must be confirmed in “Company profile” before it can be used as a sender address, read more here.

The recipient field contains the candidate’s email address. CC is a comma-separated list of emails to which a copy of the email will be sent. The message's subject is filled in the subject field.

You can freely edit the look of messages by using bold, italics, underline, lists, links, images, font sizes and colours.

Placeholders are supported in the subject field and message, they will be replaced with the relevant content when the message is sent. They are especially useful when sending the same message to multiple candidates at the same time. Please note that placeholders are case sensitive, they must be used exactly as in the example to work properly.

In the sending time field, you can define when the message is sent. The message can be edited in the applicant's timeline until it is sent.

Can I attach a file to a message?

A file can only be attached to a message as part of a pre-made message template with the "Custom Message" status.

If you want to send a message, create a message template with the "Custom Message" status in the status update settings.

If, on the other hand, you want to send an attachment as part of Feedback, create a message template in the Feedback message template settings with the "Custom Message" status.

When you send a message to a candidate, you can find the message template you created by selecting "use message template/select message template model".
