How do I use and configure custom feedback templates?

Custom templates are handy when you don’t want to reject candidates by using automatically generated feedback created by TalentAdore. This is really common when you already have provided the feedback verbally or have other grounds for sending a generic rejection message.

You can send the feedback message to individual candidates by clicking “Choose template” button on “Feedback” tab as indicated in the picture below.

You can send the feedback message to multiple candidates by selecting the candidates and then clicking “Reject” and “Send rejection letter”.

After this, you can choose the template you would like to use by clicking “Choose template”.

Please note that if there are no custom feedback templates in the same language as the job ad, then no templates are offered.

Sending feedback messages is important, because it enables you to collect data on candidate experience. Let the candidates know that their feedback truly matters. Read more about enabling your candidates to rate their experience here.

Create feedback templates

Custom feedback templates can be easily created and modified by the admin users. Go to “Company settings” and open the section “Feedback templates”. Select the language and click “Edit messages” to add or edit messages.

While you can create as many feedback messages as you want with the status “Custom”, the Feedback already given verbally” status can be used only once.
